Initial use: Place the grate on the fire and heat it until gray. Pour water on the grate and scrub with a spatula or steel brush. Pour out the water and repeat the treatment. Heat once more until gray and rub cooking oil onto the surface.
Care instructions: Wash the grate with hot water and scrub with a spatula or steel brush. Finally, wipe a little cooking oil on the clean grate.
