Grill and enjoy your patio year-round

SocialBBQ isn’t just a summer device—it brings people together in every season. On hot summer days, you can also use the table as a cold cooler: add ice packs and create an impressive cake buffet or drink station for parties. On darkening autumn evenings, the live fire brings warmth and atmosphere to shared moments. In winter and during the holidays, enjoy campfire coffee outdoors around the table, steaming cup in hand and fire glowing.

Year-round use makes SocialBBQ more than a grill—it’s a gathering place for every moment of the year.

Maintenance and Cleaning Tips

Maintenance and Cleaning

A well-maintained SocialBBQ will serve you year after year and preserve its beautiful cooking surface. Regular cleaning and proper storage ensure the best user experience.

Storing the grill element

  • The grill element is removable, making both maintenance and storage easier.
  • The element can be stored outdoors on a covered patio year-round.
  • If the grill table is completely exposed to the elements, we recommend moving the element to outdoor storage for the winter season.
  • This protects the parts from excess moisture and extends their lifespan.
  • Cast iron parts: grill grates, plancha, and half grate
  • Cast iron requires proper preparation and maintenance to keep the surface in good condition and prevent food from sticking.

Preparation

  • Place the grate or half grate over the fire and heat it until it turns gray throughout.
  • Pour water onto the hot surface and scrub with a spatula or steel sponge.
  • Repeat the treatment if necessary.
  • Heat once more until gray.
  • Rub a thin layer of unsalted pork fat or cooking oil onto the surface.
  • Note! Be careful with hot water, grease, and the grate during treatment.
  • This treatment protects the surface and helps form a natural non-stick coating.

Care instructions after use

  • Clean the grate while hot by scrubbing with a spatula or steel sponge.
  • Use hot water if needed.
  • Finally, wipe a light layer of cooking oil onto the surface for storage.
  • Regular oiling prevents rust and keeps the cast iron surface in good condition.
  • A well-maintained grill table isn’t just practical—it looks great and is always ready for the next shared moment.
