What size table should you choose?
Size is chosen primarily based on the number of users and available space. The 230 cm model suits situations where you want to accommodate 8–12 people around the table and have more generous space. It works as an impressive centerpiece on a larger terrace, patio, or at events. The smaller model, 190 cm long, is an excellent choice for a cottage or more compact terrace. Terrace size affects the choice. The SocialBBQ Grill Table is slightly wider than a traditional terrace table (113 cm). Depending on your chair choice, the terrace should ideally be 2.5 meters wide. It’s also worth noting that the grill table also functions as a terrace heater. It provides pleasant warmth and ambiance on cool evenings, so it can replace a separate heater and is therefore well-suited even for smaller terraces where you want to combine multiple functions into one solution.
Size affects not only seating but also grilling possibilities. The 230 cm model has a three-section grill, which enables truly versatile cooking simultaneously. In one section you can prepare skewers, in another use a griddle or dome for vegetables, burgers, or dishes requiring slower cooking, and in the third section you can grill traditionally directly on the grate. This makes the larger model an excellent choice when you want to serve multiple dishes at once or prepare food for a larger group without compromises. In summer it combines a dining table and grill, in fall and winter it serves as a source of warmth and ambiance. On a glazed terrace, use is possible when at least one glass panel is opened during the lighting phase. During the grill’s lighting phase, smoke forms for about 15 minutes until the charcoal or briquettes are properly lit. When properly positioned, the table forms a natural gathering place that invites you to linger longer.
What does the grill run on?
Charcoal or briquettes can be used in the grill section for food preparation. They produce even and controlled heat that’s suitable for versatile grilling right at the table. Sometimes the goal is to create beautiful flames for ambiance, and in that case wood pellets can be burned in the grill section. Semi-gloss lacquer adds depth and vibrancy to the color, and glossy finishing makes the table more striking and refined. Especially in dark shades, gloss emphasizes the table’s modern and finished appearance.
